Callouts

A callout is a pop-up window that is displayed on an agent's screen when triggered by another entity, such as a business entity, rule, workflow, or event handler. The Real-Time Designer enables you to customize the look, behavior, and content of your callouts, as described in Managing Callouts. A callout can contain text, images, and dynamic data provided by the Real-Time Designer. You can even associate a callout with a specific screen element. When the callout is displayed, a blinking rectangle calls attention to the relevant screen element.

Callouts are displayed within a frame, and appear partially transparent so that the desktop display below remains visible. To assist visually impaired users, you can configure your callouts to emit a sound when they are displayed.
